At Aurum Interiors, we prioritize the well-being of the occupants that fill spaces that we design, recognizing that a harmonious environment can positively impact mental and physical health. Our designs aim to promote wellness by incorporating elements that soothe the senses and create a sense of tranquility.

Our commitment to timeless design ensures that each space we create transcends trends, remaining relevant and captivating for years to come. We believe in the power of sophistication, infusing each design with a sense of elegance and refinement that speaks to the discerning tastes of those who occupy the spaces we create.

Functionality is at the core of our design philosophy, ensuring that every element not only looks beautiful but also serves a purpose. Our spaces are designed to enhance the lives of those who inhabit them, creating environments that are as practical as they are stunning.

Story behind the brand

The brand Aurum finds its inspiration in the Latin word for "gold," embodying richness and brilliance. This choice is further emphasized by the chemical symbol AU, reinforcing its connection to the precious metal. Delving into Roman mythology, the name also pays homage to Aurora, the golden goddess of dawn, symbolizing splendor and radiance.

Tayla, the founder of Aurum Interiors, possesses a deep-seated passion for art and history. When shaping the brand's identity, she sought to seamlessly blend her affection for design, art, and history into its core essence.

Following thorough research and reflecting on her academic background in art history, Tayla rediscovered her notes on the golden ratio. Recognizing its philosophical alignment with her design ethos, she decided to integrate this ancient principle into her creative approach.

The Fibonacci sequence, a series of numbers where each number is the sum of the two preceding ones, often starts with 0 and 1. As the sequence progresses, the ratio of each number to its successor approximates the golden ratio, approximately 1.618.

This connection between the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio lies in the fact that the ratio of any two successive numbers in the Fibonacci sequence approaches the golden ratio as the sequence unfolds. This phenomenon is evident in various aspects of art, architecture, and nature, contributing to aesthetically pleasing proportions. Artists, architects, and designers throughout history have incorporated the golden ratio into their work, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Salvador Dalí, Le Corbusier, Charles and Ray Eames, and Georges Seurat, among others, resulting in compositions and designs that resonate with visual harmony and balance.
